Honored Guest Program
Alongside athletes, families, and spectators, we are excited to welcome 1,000+ Honored Guests to Turin and the surrounding towns at the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025.
The invite-only Program consists of those already supporting the Special Olympics movement including government attendees, partners, donors, celebrities and Special Olympics leadership from around the world. Others join us as new partners and supporters.
Honored Guests have the unique opportunity to take an active part in the Games. Honored Guests will have the opportunity to present medals during award ceremonies, participate in a tour of the Healthy Athletes Program and participate in sport with athletes with our Unified Sports® Experiences. Select Honored Guests will also be able to walk in the Parade of Athletes during Opening Ceremony, traditionally a favorite for guests!
The Honored Guest Program brings together this select group of individuals for a transformative experience with Special Olympics.

The 2023 Special Olympics World Games kick off with an epic night of celebration and joy during the Opening Ceremonies held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany The Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 have officially begun with Opening Ceremony held on 17 June 2023. Each World Games host city has a unique way of kicking off the most inclusive sporting event of the year and Berlin wove their theme #UnbeatableTogether though every aspect of the ceremony.
