Families Program
Families are an essential link to the community and wider support for our movement. The Family Program of the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025 welcomes family members of athletes and Unified Partners, with the goal of ensuring that all families are welcomed and supported during the Games.
We are excited to welcome you to Turin to cheer on and support your athletes as they compete on the world stage.Before you meet us in Turin, please read the Family Handbook. The Family Handbook is being updated, so be sure to check the link periodically for more updates.

Family Reception
The Families Reception provides an opportunity to honor the family members of athletes competing in the Special Olympics World Games. Special Olympics leaders, supporters, and family members join together to celebrate parents, siblings, and caregivers, and pay tribute to the journey they have made to get to the World Games. The evening is designed to inspire new connections between our most important supporters – our families!
